Device compatibility

Description

Adhesive tape kit for securing the display to the housing of Apple iMac 24-inch.

Compatible with: iMac 24-inch A2438 and iMac 24-inch A2439.

The adhesive tape includes a special foam layer between the adhesive layers to make future display removal easier when needed.

Installation recommendations:

  1. Before applying the adhesive, clean the iMac housing and display edges from old adhesive residue using isopropyl alcohol.
  2. Do not use oily cleaning solutions, as they may leave a film that affects adhesion.
  3. It is recommended to use powder-free gloves during installation to prevent sebum or moisture from affecting the adhesive.
  4. After attaching the display, lightly heat the adhesive area around the housing to improve bonding.
  5. After installation, secure the display with paper tape until the adhesive sets, and keep it tilted backward for approximately 24 hours.
