TestingBefore installation
Check the part before final installation
Compatibility and initial checks are essential for a successful repair. The steps depend on the type of product:
- Compare your exact device model and part code with the information on the product page.
- On receipt, check the packaging, connectors and visible condition of the product. Let us know if you notice damage or discrepancies.
- For components that allow it, ask a technician to perform a functional test before adhesive bonding or final installation. For a display, check the image and touch function where applicable.
- If an issue appears, stop installation and contact us. Avoid forcing connectors or modifying the part.

Frequently asked questions
Which models are compatible with this part?
No confirmed compatible models are listed. Send the exact model and device code for confirmation before ordering.
What is the product condition?
The condition is not confirmed for this part. Ask before ordering; quality grade or compatibility does not automatically mean new.
What is included in the package?
Check the description for explicitly included components. Do not assume tools, cables, adhesives or installation are included unless listed; separately selected options are added to the order.
How do I compare variants?
This page lists one variant. Compare its specifications and model code with the part you need; similar products may use different technology or configurations.
What should I check before installation?
Confirm the exact model, connectors and part variant. Ask a qualified technician to check compatibility and relevant functions before final fitting, following the device procedure. This advice does not certify that Celo has tested the part.
Commercial classes explained
What do the part labels mean?
- New
- Declared new condition. Check the brand and origin separately in the description; new does not automatically mean genuine Apple.
- Used
- Previously used product. Check the images and description for the condition of this particular part.
- Refurbished
- Declared refurbished product. Work performed and replaced components are limited to what is explicitly stated in the description.
- Compatible
- Compatibility label for the listed model. By itself it does not establish new/used condition, manufacturer or Apple origin.
- Pulled
- Part declared removed from a device. Check the stated condition and any described tests; the label alone does not certify origin or function.
- Grade A / B / C
- Commercial appearance grades. Confirm the criteria and actual marks for the product; the letter is not an origin certification or a test result.
- Like New
- Appearance description, distinct from new condition. Check previous use, description and images.
